This Monday sees the launch of the first s2s Project at LifeHouse Church!
There are over 150 passionate people just like you, coming along on the journey as we read through the Word of God together as a Church.
Our plan is by the end of the month each person will have read four books of the Bible, written out 20 verses that hold special meaning to them and had the opportunity to help encourage someone else in their walk with God through what you share either in person or online.
Multiply this 150 times and then imagine the impact this will have on us as a Church and on our community!
Here’s how it works...
Each day simply
- pray and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you
- read the chapter for the day
- write out the ONE verse which catches your attention
One of the first things we learn when we are born is that we can’t survive alone. We need others. It’s the same with our Christian walk. To really get the full benefit of the s2s Project, we need to share what God is saying to us with others. It creates accountability, builds community and strengthens our faith.
Simply click on the comments button at the bottom of the daily post and leave your verse and why that verse stood out to you. Feel free to comment as many times as you like and let people know if something they have written has encouraged you. You will need to choose an identity to be able to leave a comment. If you don’t have a Google account, simply use the ‘name/url’ option.
If you have any difficulty in leaving a comment, please email me at jswan@lifehouse.com.au
This will be an amazing month and my prayer is that you discover for yourself the power that is in the Word of God to transform your life.
God bless
Joseph

Galations 1:15
"But when God, who set me apart from birth and called me by his grace"
We have been chosen from birth. He has set us apart and we have been called and chosen because Jesus died for us. He gave us His grace, He has made us worthy, we are whole becaue of Him - What he did - no other reason!
Galatians 2:16
" know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we too have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not bo observing the law, because by observing the law no-one will be justified"
Just being 'good' or 'acting' good is not enough. Righteousness without faith means nothing. Jesus values faith more than good works.
Galatians 3:3
"Are you so foolish? Aftern beginning with the spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort"
We try to do things in the flesh, we even have pride in ourselves in the flesh BUT nothing worthy comes from the flesh. All our achievements and accolades are from Christ. Stop relying on yourself and enlist the help of the spirit!
Galatians 4:7
"So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir"
As heirs we are priviledged to have the rights of our heavenly father right now. We don't need to wait, we are pinces and pincesses made whoe - immediately!
Galations 5:22
"But the frint of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulnes, gentleness and self control. Agains such things there is no law"
If we live by the spirit instead of trying to live in the flesh we would have a better chance of displaying the above characteristics.
Galations 6:3
"If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he decieves himself"
Pride is somehing which will decieve us and cloud the truth. It's the devils greatest power over us because our flexh wants us to beleive that we are worthy, good, deserving when in fact we are not!
Ephesians 1:17
"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Sprit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better"
Even when we have received the Holy Spirit we need to continue to pray that He works inside of us. We can't assume recieving Him is enough, we need to keep praying and praying all the time to ignite his Power!
Ephesians 2:17
"He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near"
Our God, Jesus Christ is a God for ALL. He came for all of us and does not discriminate. We should therefore never feel we are better than others. We are all His and He came for all of us. (Only some of us will have faith though!)
Hi Anonymous... it is so good to see that you are keeping up each day with your reading and love your comments. If you wanted to, you can post your comments under the blog for each particular day rather than on this post, that way others can benefit from your insights as well... let me know if you have any problems.
